We stayed one night at Cabelas. Parking lot is huge and we found a quiet spot away from truck and generator noise by taking a little walk then moving. No issues during the night,

Stayed for 3 nights while visiting the area. There is no dump but there is water. Cell signal and OTA TV were good. Quiet at night. There was a train in the distance but it didn’t bother us . We parked in the RV parking but some people were parked in the regular parking lot.

We got there about 7 pm and there were a half dozen or more other people already camping in the parking lot. We (dog included) went in the store and wandered around until the closed at 9 pm (picked up a new chair from the clearance section too). When we left the store we were greeted by a beautiful sunset so we hopped up on our rooftop deck to enjoy it.
We did not need the dump station so unsure as to ours current condition

The city of Post Falls Idaho was aptly named because it is the only beauty fitting to look at post a trip to the falls. Accommodations flourish with 5 star ratings due to big sky's and greenery to roam right out of door. The calming hum of the surrounding street lamps is as refreshing as an ocean breeze. Majestic rock piles are never more than 10 feet from your beds, allowing you to explore, dream and connect with nature. A lush forest of trees encompasses your being letting you get lost in what some might call a wilderness getaway. Lastly, the endless sea of white lines somehow invokes a high that is indescribable. When people refer to doing lines, my head goes here. Would I stay here again? The real question is will I ever leave. I propose an oath that my kids and my kids kids will know. this. place. Thank you lot A. Thank you.

We are not the Cabela's target market, but always enjoy our overnights there and can find something to purchase. They're so RV friendly and dog-friendly that it's worth going there over Wal-Mart.
As of 7-31-16, the dump was out of service. You may want to call ahead if you need it.

There is a free dump and fill station right there in the parking lot (you just have to buy something for 5$ at Cabela's, it's open till 9 pm even on week nights). The only thing for us was that a semi arrived in the middle of the night and decided to park 2 spots away from us... and let his engine run all night (did I tell you that the HUGE parking lot was empty?). All and all, it's a great one night stop!

Designated parking area had very long, level spaces, however they were very narrow and I noticed the rigs with slides either didn't have them out, or if they did, they extended into the adjoining space. It was a popular spot to overnight, and both nights was filled. I was in the space closest to the horse pen, and there were horses there one night. That space also gets spray from the sprinklers each morning. Super WalMart is within walking distance, and other shopping, restaurants, and Camping World (along with several other RV parts and service businesses) are nearby. Both internet and OTA TV signals were good. Dump station was used frequently, and at the time of my stay, had a sign indicating it was free covering the fee sign. There is potable water in 2 separate locations.
