“Great for An Overnight Stop. ”

We went in, asked if allowed, staff were super friendly. We purchased a few items, and found a spot to park, then enjoyed a great nights sleep. Woke up early, bought coffee from a gas station adjacent to the parking lot, and then back on the road. Thank you Cabela’s!

Nice flat spot. Minus a star because of the road noise bit that is to be expected. No drag racing when I overnighted but there were several campers. Thanks Cabelas.

Parking lot was nice, nice area, nice clean store but after hours it’s a drag racing hangout. Cars and crotch rockets racing and doing donuts half the night. “Local Hangout For Racing”

Nice area and nice parking lot, however it appears to be a local hangout for aspiring crotch rocket motorcycle racers who practice going from zero to redline in two seconds flat most of the night. Not a very good location for a restful night’s sleep.

Late at night, several motorcycles and cars were doing doughnuts, making quite a racket. Thankfully, there didn't seem to be any suspicious activity despite the noise. They kept their distance from other vehicles parked overnight. There are several large grass areas which is nice if you are traveling with pets. This area seems newly developed and is very nice.

“Drag Racing And Police Here”

A large gathering of sports cars and young people hanging around at 9pm. As another reviewer a few days ago stated on another app, they drag race in the parking lot = nothing but trouble. A large gathering of sports cars and young people hanging around at 9pm. As another reviewer a few days ago stated on another app, they drag race in the parking lot = nothing but trouble. Police vehicles Were already on the scene searching with K-9’s towards the heavily wooded area. There is specific RV and Truck parking area. The No Parking sign is for trucks not to park in the front lot.

Cabela’s staff were very welcoming and this is a well stocked store. They asked us to park on the fringes and we did. Spent a quiet night with four other campers, all evenly spaced apart. Best Cabela’s so far in the East b

We had a tough travel day and we were in a bind trying to find a place to overnight. I love that Cabelas is so great eat to RVers, Of course, nothing fancy, but a good place to park overnight!

Called and they said yes they allowed overnight stays and that I should park on the right hand side of the store out by the fringes. There was one other TT parked there. Went into the store to pick up a few things that I needed but it wasn't necessary. Off of the Interstate and easy to get to but a mile or 2 away so in a nice quiet area. Great cellular signal and was able to get some work done in the evening.

I called the Lexington, KY store to ask permission, but they told me they no longer allow overnight stays as the grass was ruined, water left on, etc. I’m so sorry some thoughtless people ruined it for everyone else.
