Remote campground with 5 free campsites, shorter trailers can access, vault toilet pretty clean, campground overlooks the Ohio River in to KY, there is barge traffic on the river but only provides minimal background noise otherwise a quiet setting

Overall Rating

I arrived around dusk on a Saturday evening. Some spots were taken, but there was still availability. Very quiet, no issues whatsoever.
It's a small site, so don't arrive too late. It did nearly fill up later in the night.

Beautiful, peaceful site high on a ridge overlooking the Ohio River. 5 small camp spots (looked to be for tent or car camping but could possibly get a very small trailer in).

Overall Rating

This campground was perfect for a quiet night in the woods. Beautiful views of the Ohio River, clean vault toilet, easy access, and had the place to ourselves. Our dog got to run around off leash.
