It's free and it's open from May 1st to Oct 31st. It has flush water and seperate protable water. You will need your own hoses.

The Butte County Dump Station IS open (seasonally). I used it on 6/16/22. There are 2 sides, and a non-potable water source at the sewer connection. There is also a fresh water spigot a few meters away - I tested it and it works. It's clearly marked, and located adjacent to Jack's Travel Plaza. We had camped at Craters of the Moon,... more
The Butte County Dump Station IS open (seasonally). I used it on 6/16/22. There are 2 sides, and a non-potable water source at the sewer connection. There is also a fresh water spigot a few meters away - I tested it and it works. It's clearly marked, and located adjacent to Jack's Travel Plaza. We had camped at Craters of the Moon, but they don't have a dump station - this is the closest one... and it's FREE!

Free, clean, 2-lane dump station with potable water and a dumpster. There is a reasonably-priced gas station and a diner with a huge RV/truck lot right next door.

But she gets the job done, and all for free. The local grocery store does NOT have a water filling station in it, so this is the only place in town to get fresh water. Once you’ve dumped, filled your fresh water, and topped off your gas tank, head on over to Pickle’s for dinner, and then spend the night at Honey’s (free RV park with FR... more
But she gets the job done, and all for free. The local grocery store does NOT have a water filling station in it, so this is the only place in town to get fresh water. Once you’ve dumped, filled your fresh water, and topped off your gas tank, head on over to Pickle’s for dinner, and then spend the night at Honey’s (free RV park with FREE electricity included!) before heading out in the road. You won’t regret spending the night in this quirky little town.

Easily accessible city dump and fresh fill next to Jack's gas station. Dirt/gravel with some potholing - but nothing major. Open May - October. Didn't note that there is a dump hope next to the fresh water fill until we'd already dumped at the main dump hole, rinsed - then backed up.
Also free city garbage disposal bins provided.

We love these cities that provide free dump and free potable water. What a great service and I bet they get that money back several times over with RVers spending money in the town for gas or other services. We love these cities that provide free dump and free potable water. What a great service and I bet they get that money back several times over with RVers spending money in the town for gas or other services. This dump station is right next to the Jack’s Travel Plaza gas station. There is a potable water spigot before the dump station and a rinse spigot at the dump station. The only negative is that there are several large potholes (especially if you get gas and then drive over) that need to be navigated to get there. Other than those it is an easy in and out.
