We stopped here to reload our water and dump our tanks after several days of boondocking. The first problem was that the turn around by the office was so tight it pushed my bike rack into the toad. I have a 36' class A with an overall length of 58'. After straightening out and unhooking I was led to a site on very narrow roads, especially the uphill path that had deep furrows on both sides.

Site was mostly level and long enough for my rig and car. The park has many seasonals and they are mostly in good shape. The sites are wide enough to have a picnic table without infringing upon your neighbors sewage connection.

Biggest issue was the water pressure varied from a trickle to 25psi. We weren't able to fill our tank for our next week of dry camping. This was not just my site, but the also those around me. If you can, find another option.

“Not overly impressed”

We stayed here in our travel trailer in July of 2018, about two weeks after the 4th of July week. The campground is diverse and very wooded in areas, which is nice. However, the roads inside the campground are not in great shape and even muddy in areas. Of course, in fairness, Ohio had a VERY wet summer in 2018.

The site we chose, 101, we did not have a chance to scope out beforehand. When we pulled in, I was disappointed to see that the sewer dump was higher in elevation than the side of my release valve on my trailer. Made for an interesting experience.

The camp store and amenities were pretty plain, but acceptable. But our most aggravating experience was a product of us picking the wrong weekend to camp. They decided to have a "Christmas in July" event, which involved an old 1960s style firetruck that they loaded kids onto and drove repeatedly around the campground with the siren blaring. I'm a good sport and I know camping is about families having fun, but after about a half hour of this, I couldn't take any more and politely asked them to stop. It completely took away from the relaxing atmosphere of getting away fro the weekend.

As a boondocker also, I know how to escape this kind of annoyance, but I'm just saying it wasn't a great experience. I will likely never return to this campground, especially for the price of a KOA.

Cell service was minimal to non existent as well without a booster on Verizon.
