“Great location for fishing and watching the river”

The camp ground can be reached after 2 miles of dirt road. The dirt road is swampy and I had to cross 3 puddles about 1 foot deep water each on my way out (if you take the road further North you may be able to avoid going through water).

Do not try to pass the puddles on the side. Swamp!!! I had to get hitched out. Quite an adventure but the police and everyone are super friendly and helpful .

AWD/4WD highly recommend!

The camp ground consists of six overgrown sites (see pictures). No fire pit, grill, electricity or anything else. Very basic. The river is beautiful, saw butterflies, a blue tail mole skink, fish jumping in the river. You are remote from everything. The stars at night are so bright!

Bring mosquito spray.
