Nicely spaced sites with fire ring and picnic table. Grass surface, which is crispy at the moment, so turning to sand. Our tires spun once while trying to back our fifth wheel in. We were the only ones here on Memorial Day night. We got our 30 ft fifth wheel in with no problem. You could get a pretty big rig in here, but you'd want to ... more
Nicely spaced sites with fire ring and picnic table. Grass surface, which is crispy at the moment, so turning to sand. Our tires spun once while trying to back our fifth wheel in. We were the only ones here on Memorial Day night. We got our 30 ft fifth wheel in with no problem. You could get a pretty big rig in here, but you'd want to walk in first and check for trees. Good water at the hand pump. Clean vault toilets. A dumpster out by the boat landing. A few sites would have OK solar. Quite a few are pretty shady. The path to the boat launch is behind the water pump and is mowed. Nice field with picnic tables there. The whole place seems a bit too rustic.
The cell signal was okay, 8.8 up and 0.5 down on T-Mobile. There's 5G in town.

We showed up on a Wednesday in July, only to find one other camper that was leaving. Our 19’ camper could fit into almost all sites, except maybe 1. We showed up on a Wednesday in July, only to find one other camper that was leaving. Our 19’ camper could fit into almost all sites, except maybe 1. Most sites on the river side had paths to the river. The outhouses were clean with plenty of TP, and hand sanitizer. Plenty of privacy between sites. If for some reason this campground is full, there are 2 other state forest campgrounds within 20 minutes, on the AuSable also.

Only saw one camper on a Monday in the summer, one outhouse pair, river access parking w outhouse, not overgrown, but sees lower use than many. Quiet
