Many spaces are nicely separated but some are more exposed. Some pads are short for anything more than a car, and some are a bit steep for a van or other MH. Many are best for tent campers. Some spots can be reserved but many (most?) are FF. I got a spot on a Friday in July at 4pm then returned Sunday and it was largely empty. Very ... more

Loads of hiking and biking in the area and lots of families in the campground. The bathrooms (pit toilets) were very clean and well maintained and the camp hosts were lovely people. We would definitely stay here again.
The biting flies (we called 'em horse flies where I grew up) were horrendous. The people at the site next to us left because their dogs were being eaten alive. That said, however, they told us they had been coming here for years and the flies had never been like this before, so the problem may be a fluke.

We stayed in early April and it was still quite chilly. We chose a spot as far back as you could go in the campground and there weren’t many other campers. Vault toilets were well maintained and there was fresh water available by spigots. No dump station in the immediate area that we could find. Very nice camp hosts. Definitely will be... more

The first come sites parking a trailer or motor-home would be a challenge at best due to the very short driveways. (Around 25 feet or less) The reserved sites have longer places to park and tend to be flatter.
