“Right next to the lake!”

This campground is really spectacular! There are a lot of spots where you are directly on the lake. I really wanted to post about the size and types of RVs that are able to come here. I couldn’t find this information anywhere else so I wanted to share it. I personally hauled a 33 ft travel trailer here and it was not bad at all. I also saw a few Class A’s that were close to 40 feet and a lot of class C that were 25-35 feet long. Plenty of spaces that are large enough to accommodate large rigs. As long as you are willing to brave the rough drive of 6 miles, it is worth it!
I would definitely recommend getting there early for a weekend like on a Thursday. I just went in March and it was almost sold out. Bathrooms are great and they have water spigots where you can fill some aquatainers to get some water back into rig. This is some great boondocking and there is NO cell service for all carriers.

“Wow. Scenery. Beautiful lake.”

Spectacular! Off the charts beautiful. This campground is accessed easiest from the east. We had a 28' toy hauler and the road is very narrow in places, but doable. 2nd week of February and it was pretty deserted. March gets busy with spring break younger crowd. Water available. Nice clean toilets. Dump stations available on Roosevelt Lake nearby. Pretty much off the grid. Campsites right on the water. No Tonto Pass needed. Use Credit Card vending for payment. Very easy.
