Easy access, right on the road, but did quiet down at night. Large trees over gravel sites. Able/had to move to find get level without needing special levelers. Some supplies in office. Good internet.
Dog enjoyed going for a walk in the nearby neighborhood (take side street and head back) and did not bark at the deer.

This little park is in a great location for gathering in RV travelers. It is half way between Ontario and Bend Oregon and is the only thing for 120 miles in either direction. It is a no frills, rural country setting that offers a pleasant but not fancy overnight stay. The pull through sites seem easy in/easy out and do offer some shade if that’s important. We had a back in site that was convenient but not very level. The utilities were located at the rear of the back in sites forcing me to back a bit further than I would have liked and we lost some shade because of it. The Wi-Fi was weak but useable. The park staff was friendly and as mentioned, most sites had some shade. The town of Burns offers very little for travelers other than a few places to eat. This is a good park for a one night stop over or possibly a down rest day if you’ve been on the road a while.

The bathrooms were dirty & old, and the men’s never did have any toilet paper. The women’s didn’t have any water in the hot taps of the sinks - as though they were disconnected. We decided against trying the showers so don’t know if they had hot water.

We have stayed in the past (2021)to explore the area. It was clean and neat, welcoming. Sept 2022, bathrooms we’re filthy, don’t forget to take your TP just in case. The side gates are always open and a tuner car constantly coming and going, makes it noisy. The back spaces are nice and large and away from the main road.

This RV park I’m assuming is a work-in-progress.
The (mostly) pull thru sites were a bit tight with your neighbors.
One reviewer described it as “tidy”…a stretch at best.
The bathrooms need help!
The lone office guy was pleasant enough and helpful.
Sites are gravel and mine was level.
Some things look like they’ve been freshened up and hope the owners continue to make improvements.
Jury is still if I would rebook.

This was an unhooked overnight coming at the beginning of a long trip. The word that came to mind to describe the park was 'tidy'. Friendly office staff, clean bathrooms, just a nice park which we will visit again in the future, perhaps for a longer stay.

Having not been here before, we were not expecting much from this place. But we were just passing though for the night, the reviews were good, and I was impressed with the owner when I spoke with him over the phone, so we decided to give it a shot. The small-to-medium-sized campground did not disappoint. Large trees with lots of shade. Reasonably quiet, even considering it is right on the main road. Mature, responsible, and friendly clientele. Felt very safe. Staff was great. Sites are spaced reasonably. Full hookups, although my at my site the sewer pipe was toward the front of the parking space, so I needed to use my second extension. It seemed that few sites were situated this way. Most had the sewer pipe further back, and some even had two pipes. Our site, and from what I could see, all others as well, was perfectly level, Didn't need to do anything. Just put down the jacks. The facility and grounds are exceptionally well kept. They even have teepees and cabins, and also community facilities like volleyball, BBQ, laundry, dog area, small store, etc. The only thing lacking was a fire pit/BBQ at each site. None of the sites have them. I'm wondering if this is some local ordinance or something. So if you want a bonfire or BBQ, you'll have to use one of the communal one spread around the grounds. All in all, we would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone, whether for a short or long stay,

We arrived at Burns RVP on May 30, 2021. This is a nice full service park (RV, tent, cabins) with mature landscaping to which the owners have made obvious recent improvements. For example, the office is in what appears to be a vintage structure, while the laundry, restrooms and cabins are all new structures. A rather unique feature is a common gathering area opposite the office that has some lawn games, a gas grill, and a fire-pit (with firewood!) We used Burns as a base for day trips to Malheur NWR, Steen's Mountain and the Alvord Desert.

Very nice RV park. Gravel, level sites, grass between sites and trees throughout the park. There are 2 creeks adjacent and one time we were there in the spring those were over their banks and park was WET. This time all was good. Limited Cable TV, WiFi, The only annoying rule is that dogs are to only use the dog walk, and not pee on the grass at the sites.

Refused to give me a full refund when we could not travel that way because of the extreme unhealthy smoke levels from the wild fires.
Unlike other RV parks they instead gave me a credit which I will not use
