Great place to relax and enjoy a great ocean view. Great fishing. Not close to shopping but exactly why we RV!

We've tent camped here several times. If you like to saltwater fish, this is a good place to go. You don't need a boat. There is a beautiful pier to fish from. Heard they're tearing the Redfish up at night. We can hardly wait!

Really enjoyed our overnight stay, backed right on to the water and with full (new) hook ups. Camp host Jimmy was very nice, welcoming, and knowledgeable. The surface is recycled ground-up asphalt so it is quite lumpy and can be sharp--so no bare feet! It's a small-ish campground but with plenty of room; it was a little tight for our 40' 5-er to get in and out, but there was plenty of room to maneuver back into our spot. The sites are clean and level. They're not numbered or marked that we saw, but Jimmy asked our preference and it was super-easy to back in. The only slight negative is there is a small water treatment/pump, at the campground entrance and the generator comes on during the night. It's not particularly quiet and I wouldn't want to be on one of the sites that's close to it, but where we were, it wasn't overly loud. Verizon signal is excellent, and surprisingly the WiFi worked great as well. Oh yeah--and it's $15 a night! We love these small State campgrounds and the people here are just the nicest. Definitely recommended and we'll be back for sure!

I did not use the facilities so can't comment on that. The only negative I can say about going here is that Hwy 90 is a brutally rough ride. The campground was about 15 miles off hwy 90 and that road was so much better. So glad we went to Burns.

The location and people are outstanding. 30amp outlets not working. Fortunately our neighbors weren’t using theirs.
The bathrooms and shower are very very old. No bench and only one hook to keep things off the wet floor. One sink the water isn’t working.

The last site, 34, you can park parallel to the rip rap. The drive in was easy and scenic. Cell coverage for Verizon was good. Really nothing nearby, come in prepared and stay a while. The sites by the water do have flood lights so its bright all night long but adds a sense of security.

No tables, but we have one for these situations. Some noise from the septic treatment facility, but we accepted this without issue compared to street noise at other places.
