The first couple of nights were very peaceful. So quiet that when you spoke outside you felt like you would be bothering your neighbors. Cell service and data worked fine with the booster. As full-time RVers who work from home, we were unable to use our hotspot even with a Booster. Most of the cell service was 3G to one bar of Verizon (just enough to send a text or make a quick call). We spent most of our days traveling to Naples to work, so didn't spend a lot of time at the campground. The area is very peaceful and ... more

“The quietest of the Tamiami Trail Big Cypress Campgrounds”

Burns Lake is a simple campground that is open with a picnic table and fire grate at all sites. Bear boxes available on tent camping side. 10 RV sites on one side of the lake, 5 tent camping sites on the other. The current sign from Dec. 2018 says that you need to reserve sites online.
