We were on our way to visit our daughter in DC. This county park was amazingly empty - even though it was a Thursday night in October, we expected there would be some people getting a jump on the weekend. “County Park in a Beautiful Setting and Fun for the Entire Family”

This county park offers RV sites with no hook-ups for $31 a night. (They do have a bathhouse!) For 2019, the campground is open from April 12 through October 26. The camp spots are nestled in the woods with wildlife all around. Each site has a picnic table and a fire ring. There are lots of (paid and free) activities around the par... more

Came here in 35 ft fifth wheel. Lots of small sites. But there are some large sites I found. Very quiet, I was here on a Tuesday and Wednesday night. Lots to do at this park.
