We planned a week trip with the kids here, the office had a hard time telling us what was available and when. They were a nice couple who ran it but was really confusing when it came to reservations. We took the kids to the water park one day but it was pricey and offered no shade. So it wasn’t baby/toddler friendly enough for us. 4 minutes down the road was a city pool (more like water park) that fit us better and a lot cheaper Norman "Red" Mosby Pool. Over all it was a really nice time not much to complain about, unless you have bigger rigs then the tight campgrounds might not feel so great. It is pull thru sites so that is nice and shaded.

This is a small, narrow road-ed campground with closely laid campsites. All of the RV accessible campsites (there is separate a tent area too) are pull through-loop style. Some of the campsites are in rougher shape than others, and tree overhang may be an issue in a few of the sites if you've got a taller rig. The lower numbered sites have 30/50A, water, sewer. The higher numbered sites are 30/50A, water only.
This park was nearly full when we arrived in the early Spring (late March). Most of the rigs here are either seasonal looking, or are staying to longer periods of time. We did not reserve a space before we arrived, but we did call the morning of our intended arrival to make sure there would be a site available. The reservation line person was very friendly and helpful. When we arrived we were 'greeted' but a cranky security person - but otherwise our interactions with park staff were good.
The park was quiet when we were there. A far-off train horn could be heard on occasion. Site 5 is right next to an electrical box, so we did hear the hum of that when our windows were open.
There are gendered restrooms/showers and a laundry 'room' with a single washer ($1.50) and dryer ($.75). The park boasts a waterpark with water slides (seasonal) multiple playgrounds, a bicycle BMX track, a 3 mile paved bike trail to the ISU (college), a duck pond, and several odds-and-ends of entertainment.
Access to the park was interesting. The public roads into the park are narrow but easily accessible. Be sure to use the entrance labeled for the campground; the other entrances are not as friendly for campground access.
We had decently usable Verizon (3 down, 2 up) in site 5. The park offers public WiFi, which will get the job done if you're not streaming and are patient. We used our Starlink roaming, which was possible in site 5 as the trees in the park had yet to grow leaves for the season; this could be trickier when the trees are in full foliage.
The campground bathrooms/laundry room can act as a tornado shelter if needed (the alarm went off while we were here).

The manager was not there when we pulled up at 1:00 in the afternoon. No informational packet left just our last name with a number on a board. After we were set up the manager complained about how we positioned our rig and wanted us to pack everything back up and move it just because he felt like it.
Our sewer pipe was broken and we had to share water with the neighbor. Thankful we brought an extra 50’ of hose!
I gave it 2 starts because there is an excellent paved bike riding trail that connects to the university. Other than that I’d find another place to camp. We left two days early. Also it’s close to train tracks so it’s noisy.
