Get your pass at the visitors center, don't need one for the RV just the car. Most sites are spaced out and shaded. We couldn't see our neighbor in site 53. Bathrooms and showers were top notch.
Miles of paved trails in the park.
AT&T service was good, 2-3 bars of 5G. Used the booster for uninterrupted streaming.

I don’t have starlink but I can’t imagine this would be a good place for it. Verizon service from my phone has speeds of 3-4down and was functionally for scrolling on social media. My Verizon hotspot had consistent speeds at 20down 4up and I was able to make work calls, video calls, and stream without trouble.

Our site was too heavily Treed to use DISH network, but with a place like this, who cares?
About 30 minutes to Downtown Minneapolis, so we were able to visit friends and explore the city with ease.
Verizon LTE could be a bit sketchy from time to time, likely depends on your site location

We had a pull through site, well shaded and plenty of room for 35' MH and Jeep Wrangler.
Picnic table is below parking pad and water spigot connection is low to the ground.
We were around the corner from the playground.

Most roads are sandstone gravel and some asphalt. Very modern bath house facilities are unisex and shower combined. Fire pits and beautiful picnic tables at each site. Most sites have modern electric and water fixtures (30 and 50 depending on zone.). Sewer dump station is very small and a line backs up to use it on Sunday. Verizon is very poor here and AT&T was very usable for working during the week and then was useless Friday afternoon and on.

While you will hear some traffic noise, you will also hear whippoorwills in the woods. The sites at Bunker Hills are mostly spread out and have a good degree of forest cover between the sites.
The park itself is an wonderful gem in an urban area. There are paved and gravel trails that you can bike and walk for miles. For the kids there is a water park (closed in August 2020). Just so much to do at this park. Plus, because you are in an urban area you can quickly drive out to get to other areas.
One nice feature which I don't find often enough at public campgrounds without sewer connections is that there are water hookups at each campsites. It is so nice to be able to fill up your fresh water tank somewhere else than the dump station.

Bunker Hills Campground is within Bunker Hills Regional Park in Coon Rapids, Minnesota. We stayed here a little short of a week so that we could visit a customer in the neighboring city of Anoka. The park had a really great feeling about it — the light always seemed magical, we ran into deer and turkey on a regular basis, and it has a really great trail system. The campground itself has restrooms with showers, which were pretty decent, even if there’s no temperature control and the water pressure could be a tad bit better. The sites are large and private with picnic tables and fire rings. There are three loops — one with 30 amp/water hookups (where we stayed), one with 50 amp/water hookups, and one with more 50 amp sites, tent sites and a couple of cabins. There is also a visitor’s center right as you enter the campground with a dump station nearby.
The park the campground is located in also has a lot to offer: A nice, paved trail system; golf course with restaurant (good food); playgrounds; picnic pavilions; restrooms; horse stables; archery range; disc golf course; and water park, which didn’t open until the day we left.
The nightly rate is $28, which is reasonable, but there was an $8 reservation fee as well as a daily access fee of $6 (or $30 for an annual pass), so if you aren’t staying long, it might not be very cost effective.

Bunker Hills campground is located in the sprawling Bunker Hills Regional Park run by Anoka County parks. The park is surrounded by suburbia. Many of the amenities, the water park, stables, bike trail, golf course and picnic area are typical for an urban park but the campground is set in an area that has been left more natural. There are oaks, pines and maple trees, natural undergrowth and native prairie grasses. Camping loops and driveways are gravel and can get dusty.
The 65 sites are large and well separated. We camped here on a weekend and at 30 feet we were one of the smallest rigs in our loop. Our site had 50 amp electric and a water hookup. There are sites with 30 amp power and primitive sites as well. There is an RV dump available as you exit. Each loop has a bathroom building that has separate Men's and Women's bathroom with shower. Our loop's bathroom also had two Family bathrooms with shower. The bathrooms are some of the nicest, cleanest I've seen.
The camping fee does not include a required vehicle permit. You can pay $5 per day for the permit or $25 for an annual permit.
Verizon cell service was only 1-2 bars LTE and it slowed down considerably on Friday night. We discovered that the nearby high school hosted a football game and suspect the tower was really busy due to the crowds.
Both our truck Nav system and Google Maps misrouted us while navigating to the park. The primary entrance is via County Road A which runs along the golf course in the southwest corner but both map systems routed us to Jefferson Street on the east side. There are signs as you approach the park and you should follow them.
