Lovely campground inside a horseshoe bend of the Deschutes River. Getting there is confusing--follow the directions from recreation.gov. Do *NOT* take Road 4370 (West River Rd.) as it is closed past Wyeth Campground. Instead take County Road 43 to Road NF-100 (with a "Bull Bend" sign). This really is a ‘hidden gem’. Tucked in between the u in the river. All the sites are really big and private. Half are reservable half first come first serve. Little rough getting there but if you go slow on the fire road it’s not too bad. It was a little too far from some of the places we wanted to go too so we only stayed one night but definitely great for a getaway to the woods.
