“GORGEOUS but MOSQUITOES AF”

We went down the hill with our 21’ TT and got a stunning view and a quiet site. We watched a grizzly with her cubs literally try to catch elk in the river next to the camp site. Locals call her Felicia. It was awesome to watch, but be aware this is HER NEIGHBORHOOD. The mosquitoes are aggressive and never let up. Ever. We finally gave in and pulled chalks and find another spot to get some relief. It made us sad bc we LOVED the location and the Phillips 66 up the road had great showers and a little bar.

“Super crowded. Camping in designated spots only. ”

Literally no spaces available. This is a national forest but dispersed camping is only allowed in marked sites which were all full. No luck here. Bear signs everywhere too so we didn’t feel comfortable cooking dinner here. Good luck finding an open spot here! Probably would have been a good spot if there were any open.
