Super clean everything! Flat gravel sites nicely spaced. Rowan helped with local things to see and enjoyed Blue Grass band in the Occidental Saloon. Would stay again for sure. Wish all KOA’s were kept up as well as this one.

The Campsites and the facilities were very clean. Less than a mile from I-25, the noise wasn’t that bad, much better than other places we’ve stayed. The staff was friendly and the gift shop had a fantastic selection of Wyoming fair!

After driving through white out conditions, we had to pull over and found this place. The staff was nice and the grounds are well kept. Good job even. We do wish the sites were level.

We stayed at the Buffalo Wyoming KOA in August 2021. This is a very nice KOA park and in fact was our favorite KOA that we have visited. This is a family run KOA that has done some pretty incredible upgrades to this resort. Upon arrival, we were placed in a private site along a babbling brook. It was fantastic sitting outside at any time of day or night and listen to the water running by just outside our door. This park offers FHU sites that are very spacious. A number of sites that even run right beside the river. There is river beach access for everyone. The best park WiFi we have ever used, a nice pool and awesome gated dog run. It was lovely walking around the park in the evening talking to our fellow campers. Wonderful family run park which we highly recommend. Power went out for over an hour at my friend's site. It was warm when we arrived so not sure if that was a factor. They were also full as a wind storm was pushing all RVs to get off the road.
ATT internet was good

Pros: Wifi worked good. Good for overnight stay before heading over mountain.
Hwy 16 is well paved. Grades not that scary at all. Beautiful drive to Ten Sleep.
Other: If doing the Crazy Woman Canyon rent an ATV. The road in the canyon is almost one lane. Museum in Buffalo and Big Horn were great. Take the Briton home tour at the museum.
Nice dry camping areas just up Hwy 16 from Buffalo.
