Great location and set up.
Host off duty, many sites empty, but reserved? Aren’t reservations canceled if you miss the first night… at leas, that’s what the posted sign stated.
Road damage due to rain.
Could not find water.
No cell coverage… barely satellite GPS

My then BF (now husband!) went on our first camping trip and came across this campground. We LOVED it! Has picnic benches and a bathroom and is next to the creek. When we went there were a lot of ants, but that really shouldn't deter you. Also, there is a mineral in the creek that tends to smell a few times a year 5-8 spots back in ... more
My then BF (now husband!) went on our first camping trip and came across this campground. We LOVED it! Has picnic benches and a bathroom and is next to the creek.
When we went there were a lot of ants, but that really shouldn't deter you. Also, there is a mineral in the creek that tends to smell a few times a year 5-8 spots back in the trees that get really neat. However, this is SMACK DAB in the middle of free dispersed camping (no water access) and paid camping with RV's.
If I could get a spot here again I would, but there are some really cool sites in the off the same road.

My gf and I live in Denver and went here over the weekend for a short 1nighter. Super great spot. The roads getting in are dirt but passable by all types of vehicle..lots of trails and roads to explore. Beautiful scenery and will be going back for sure.
