Overall Rating
Stayed here for a week with our 44 ft fifth wheel. Only accessible by dirt roads that were in really good shape. Saw a huge herd of bison from the camp there had to be 400 plus with loads of calves. Would definitely stay again!

Overall Rating
Amazing location near center of Sun Prairie Unit of American Prairie Reserve organization. Large buffalo herd grazes across unit - - - including (at times) in the campground. If you have a high clearance vehicle there are several 'two track' dirt roads for exploring prairie in unit and adjoining federal lands.
RV sites have 120VAC, fire pit, table. No dump station, no potable water.
No cellphone coverage.
Suggest checking out APR website before planning a trip to Buffalo Camp or other areas of the reserve.
