Broxton Bridge Plantation Campgrounds

Long term Off-Season stay at this campground. No staff on site but easily available via telephone (numbers are posted on door to the office). Whenever I’ve needed anything such as propane refill or even an air compressor for a flat tire - everything available here at campsite. Campground itself is remote (nearest Wal-Mart is about 35 minutes away. There is a grocery store about 15 minutes away in a nearby town) but that is one of the best things about it. There are a couple of other full timers here but we aren’t on top of each other. Very quiet. Pets are welcome but need to be leashed. Many people come in for weekend as there are many miles of trails and folks bring their horses. They do have fencing available for overnight stay with horses and even have a few, I don’t know what you call them, paddocks? - that are permanent structures. There are showers/bathrooms and a couple washing machines/dryers. There is also a Bed & Breakfast on property as well as skeet shooting. In March there is a reenactment of a Civil War Battle - excited to see that if we are still here then.

Very friendly place one bar for Verizon but they have Wi-Fi that you can hook up to all over in RV park and it’s very strong lots of hiking like miles of hiki g, 6000 acres and I’m sure a lot of it you can mountain bike is limited to certain times of the day showers are strong bathrooms are medium to OK right off of 95 it’s also good you can camp here with your horses
