There are 2 campgrounds next to each other. The first one is beside the river and the museum and is a free public spot. The next one has hookups with a nightly charge

A word of caution: We arrived at late dusk and mistook a plowed over muddy pad for hard pack and ended up getting our tow car stuck in it. There's not much that's more fun than spending the first 30 minutes of your arrival at a campsite digging out your car and getting covered in mud! When we were here, there was a lot of mud everywhere from a recent flood and I wouldn't want to take the motorhome any further than we went into the park due to the rampant mud.

There is fire pits and tables but can’t get to them because of high grass.

After you cross the bridge into Nebraska, you'll take a left on S 1st Street, then left onto 648A Ave. Continue until you see a sign for Brownville Riverside Park on the left. Nearly immediately, you will see another road on the left with a sign that says it's the South entrance for River Inn Resort and that it's closed. It's not closed and is definitely where you want to turn. There is 6-8 campsites with picnic tables and fire rings. When we stayed, it badly needed mowed and was a little run-down but it's hard to beat free! It's right along the Missouri river and very peaceful.
