This boondock is located at 6200 ft elevation about 2.7 miles from Highway 93 on the very nice gravel Bristol Wells road. The site is nestled in juniper forest about 50 yards back from the main road. The site is not level and the trees will limit the size of rigs that will fit, but the end result is a very nice, private site. There's a large turnout where the access road intersects the Bristol Wells road that could handle rigs of any size. I was only able to get 1 bar of Verizon 1x WITH the antenna and amplifier - essential no connectivity. We stayed here mid May, 2014. We only saw one vehicle pass on the road in a 15 hour period.

If you continue 4 miles beyond this point on the Bristol Wells road you'll arrive at -- Bristol Wells. There are three large charcoal kilns and the remains of two stone houses at this location plus other potential boondocking spots.
