While evaluating Columbia Gorge campsites for a 2-week stay. On 1/1/2022, I drove through the park and was greatly disappointed. - While located close to the Cascade Locks activities and restaurants. The park was full of trailers that appeared to have been there for a long time and were in poor condition. People are living there full-time in both the trailers and in the small cabins. - If you are vacationing in the Gorge, I suggest that you choose a different campground.

Two alternates to consider:
- Cascade Locks KOA, while it is an older park it, is set in a forest. Closed in the winter.
- Cascade Locks Marine Park Campground a hidden small gem worth taking a look at.

I can’t belive we got our 28’ in the spot. It took a lot of effort to back in. Very small sites and tiny road in this small one street park. Mostly long term campers. You can walk to everything in this nice little town. I wouldn’t go back because it’s so hard to access and back in.
