Brickyard Plantation RV Park

The customer service was outstanding! The spots were grassy and level. The bathhouses were very clean. Nice laundry room with plenty of new front load washer/dryers ($2ea). Campground offers a disc golf & foot golf course as well as regular golf. Lots to do in the local area, Leslie, Americus, Plains. We extended our stay by 3 days to wait out the rain. After 5 days of non-stop rain, the sites/roads were under water. The entrance road has pot holes that could use some filling, but nothing too horrible. It should also be noted that there is a separate entrance for RV’s. We missed it and had to find a turn around spot up the road...there’s a church with large parking lot just past the campground (headed towards Americus). The WiFi was spotty. Verizon worked well.

Pull through sites, full hookups, large and grassy/gravel. Most with picnic tables. Large clean bathhouse and laundry sites. Laundry is $2 per wash and $2 per dry. Pets are accepted and there is a small dog area. It has some holes in the fences so if you have a small dog it’s no good. Sometimes people pick up after their dogs. Sometimes not. The golf course surrounds the campground, busier on weekends. We took our dogs for walks along the golf course, just stayed away from anyone playing. 10 min to the Walmart and town of Americus. There’s an amazing Mediterranean restaurant in town. Not much else.
