Stayed there for 1 night, easy to find but no signposted sites. We just chose a spot anywhere with a good view. We were the only ones there, in the morning there was someone mowing the grass. Beautiful area. But no service and only pit toilets

Boysen State Park is a large state park situated around the Boysen Reservoir. The park offers camping right along water’s edge and boat ramps to launch a boat. There are several different campgrounds to choose from.

We were at the park for the eclipse. The park was well prepared for the crowds and maintained a laid back attitude that made our experience during their busy time enjoyable.
The pit toilets were extremely clean.

Most of our pictures of this park were more eclipse related than campground related, so I didn't add those to this review. While staying here we also enjoyed a great local mountain bike ride. If you are interesting in those non-campground specific details of the area, I've documented those at: https://ridingroadsandtrails.com/2017/08/24/eclipse-2017/
