They only problem we had were the walking trails had a couple of huge Harvester ant mounds. One of our dogs got bitten and we had to rush into town to buy some Benadryl. Just one ant bite was bad enough. I would hate for any young children to be walking the path inside the park and get bitten. You have to really be looking for the mound. The restrooms were super clean, air conditioning inside and washer dryer available if needed. If you need supplies, there is a small HEB in Edna. The pond is a catch and release, so that would be fun for kids. Wild deer are nice to watch too!

Several miles of trails in the park. AT&T cell service was excellent, no booster needed to stream.

Great place, "pull through" well if you are in a 30' ok, turns a little tight for anything larger, just be prepared to back and forth a little to get lined up. Unfortunately it was too hot and humid to really explore much. We are from high mountain desert so 98° with a feels like of 108° kept us inside. Would love to be here in the fal... more

If you come in from the N. E. don't listen to google, go in to Edna and take the good road to the site.

Great trails and some historic sites that can be visited within the park.
My only complaint was the men’s bathroom. Had 3 stalls with one that didn’t have a lock on the door and of course that was the cleanest stall. Obviously the bathrooms are not cleaned daily. I can’t speak about the women’s bathroom or showers since I didn’t visit either.
Yes I’m sure we will return since we had a great time at Brackenridge.
