Electric (50A, 30A, 20A) only sites with nearby clean bathrooms and showers (did not use). Verizon service was solid for us - sufficient for us to hold video calls and stream content. Visitors required to pay entry fee even if its just a drop-off

No water at sites and the sites themselves are narrow and often lumpy and not level. We camp at state parks all over the country, and Colorado has the most unfair pricing of all.

The park was nice all in all but on my last day here it kind of smelled like horse manure.

Sites leveled, pull through, electric only but with water spigots nearby. Dump station available.
Restrooms available at every other loop - clean but full of cob webs.
Main building has a laundry which accepts cards via an app - that was super cool.
Great paved trail for walking and biking by the lake.
Great cell coverage!!!
Water level was low so you had a bigger beach to play with.
My other complaint is that the placed was not being well looked after. What was supposed to be grass, was all weeds. Some overgrown. It's a shame.
Book early, this is a busy state park at the weekends. Sites at the edge of the loops get reservoir views!

The tree was on one end of the site and the electric was on the other end, so I had to use an extension to reach the pole and take advantage of the shade. The site had no water, but there is a spigot on 113 that was within easy reach. Bonus! The site was level and we didn’t have any issues with the electric. The weeds were pretty high while we were there and the didn’t mow. Perhaps they are short on help? There is a nice bike path and a lake. We will return!

We came off of boon-docking for a couple of weeks so we needed to restock food, dump tanks, do laundry and eat out! This State Park served our needs.
PROs:
* Clean for such a large park. Plenty of dumpsters for trash and our site had electric, which helped out on the hot days;
* Sites are level and easy pull in;
* Nice paths to walk and bike and some of them went along the lake;
* We enjoyed doing all our needed shopping in Loveland, a lovely large town!
CONs:
* Sites are close to each other and not all shaded with trees;
* The daily park entrance is steep ($10/day) but we had purchased an annual pass before we started touring Colorado;
* This is a LARGE campground so typical noisy (music, partys, etc).

Would only stay here again if there were no other option. Too close to the city for us. Park is in ok shape. Laundry facilities were adequate and park personnel were very nice. Shade in some spots, but not ours. Concrete pads.

The Boyd lake front range trail runs right by the campground. Very handy for walking and biking.
Oddities:
All of the sites have electricity but no water or sewer.
The water spigots in each loop have hose bib attachments and you can fill your rig at one of those before you park but you shouldn’t leave a hose connected to them.
Since there is no sewer connections the two dump stations get really crowded near checkout time.
