Great park! It has water and electricity at some sites. Bathrooms and dump station and water. Oh and ice. The camp host was great and kept the campground clean. Would definitely stay again.

Based on the reviews here, we thought we'd give this park a try; we ended up liking it so well that we stayed twice as long as we originally planned. Bouse is a very small town that avoids the hustle & bustle of larger areas (like Quartzsite, Parker, Lake Havasu City, etc.), which we consider a feature. Our site had water & electric (50 amp!) service, with a dump station available for campers. Our neighbors were quiet & friendly. We enjoyed our site's fire ring each night except one, when it was too windy. The star field was amazing most nights, with very little light pollution. A walking area just across the road provided a nice place to run our dog each day. BLM trails started about 100 yards from the park. Numerous people were boondocking off Plomosa Road. We plan to return so that we can further explore the many trails.

This is a very basic, yet quiet and pleasant little city campground. The boondocking sites are the preferred sites if you can handle the lack of W/E hookups as they are at the end of the camp road which makes them quieter than the W/E sites which are arranged in a style typical to a "private" RV park along the road to the back of the campground where the boondocking sites are located.
The camp host was very friendly, relaxed and helpful. The campground itself is nothing special but it is quiet. Verizon internet was OK, good enough for some video streaming and fine for web surfing/emails, etc.. There is no OTA TV reception, bring your satellite!
While we enjoyed this little park and, while we would certainly stay here again, our penchant for remote boondocking would send us about two or three miles south on Plomosa Road to some excellent BLM boondocking sites which oddly enough seem to have better internet and incredible views.
