July 2023 . The lake front row of the campground is flooded and closed off. The high snowpack melting in the Sierras causes record water levels at Lake Isabella. Still great access to the water. It‘s packed on weekends, empty during the week. Shade at the majority of sites. We enjoyed our 4 night stay. What we noticed though, even though the campground host was seen stopping at the restrooms several times during the day , the trash bins weren’t emptied or the sinks cleaned once. They were dirty , trash overflowing and toilet paper was not restocked even though it was a weekend. Due to the high wind trash was being scattered throughout the grounds. I picked up and filled several bags because I couldn’t stand the carelessness of campers and campground host.

We love this spot! Only us and the campground hosts are here in early May. It’s a short walk to the lake, which is beautiful. Bathrooms are clean, though I wish they still had showers. Very quiet, lots of sites with shade, well maintained, and really convenient if you’re passing through or staying a while.

Primitive, but has bathrooms and water. No hook ups. 28.00 plus additional vehicle 7.00 per night. Holidays add a extra 2.00.

“Don’t bother”
noted 8/26/2024
We pulled in and we’re trying to decide where to go and the camp host pulled in all hell fire and brimstone wanting to to pay up. We were there 5 minutes. $34 a night! Yikes. The place is dirty, the bathrooms were not clean, it’s next to a busy road and only a few sites had lake view.
We were flabbergasted by the price so we left!
