The web site still states that restrooms and showers remain closed. Is this indeed the case?

Large safe campground close to beautiful walking trails around lakes. 1/3 mile walk to target. Mile walk to planet fitness. Walmart and Costco about 2 miles away. Only $20 a night with electric. Water to the sites still wasn't on in April, but we weren't missing it much with a nice heated shower/ bathroom facility with a big sink for filling up water. The water at the dump station was running too. Starlink worked beautifully. If you're looking for a spot deep in the middle of nature, this isn't it, but it is a great inexpensive option in the middle of civilization

What I really liked is that you pay for the services you need. A place to park $15 add water or electric +$5, both +$10. Our church had a mission trip in Longmont in July of 22. We NEEDED electric everyday, but water only once. So we only had to pay for water once. The dump is free if you are staying there.
Check out the video of our stay.

Checkin was easy at the kiosk. They only take cash though. Even though I paid for water and electric, the water was not flowing. The sites are short and close. Antenna reception was good. AT&T had 2 bars 5G. It is only 20 minutes to Boulder and I didn’t see anything much closer. Good for an overnight.

The use of the dump station is included in your camping fee, even with no hookups. The limit is 14 days but some of the rigs looked like they had been there longer. The bath house was clean and open, but right now you have to get a code from a County employee. The employee is usually only around from 8:00 to 5:00. For us in our camper van, it was an inexpensive jumping off point for Rocky Mountain National park.

The stalls are all first come first served but if they are full it appears that some people park in the fairgrounds parking lot area for overnight as well.

Others have already reviewed the sites and area, but I wanted to take a moment to point out the campground is next door to the local ASPCA. They have a vet clinic at the back of the building. They were great at getting our two dogs in for vaccine updates and updated paperwork to have while traveling. Another camper was able to stay while their dog was in the hospital for health issues. Many forums and groups discuss access to health care providers on the road, but I haven’t seen resource for pets, this was a wonderful opportunity, that others might need while traveling with pets.

Customer service is 10/10, the site is close to many businesses (target, Home Depot, etc) if you forgot somethings like I did! Felt very safe. Washrooms & showers are the cleanest I’ve seen so far on my road trip! If I had more time, I would have stayed there longer!

We really like this campground a lot. It was perfect for our needs. It is at a great central location that provided a place to store our enclosed trailer and a pull thru for our 40 foot Super C. It has water and electricity at the site but a separate dump station that cost $10. We also have two pups so the fairgrounds provided lots of walking options for us, plus the three adjacent ponds with trails. Shopping and restaurants are very close by. There is a 2 week maximum per calendar year.
So for us it had all we needed for our stay here. Oh and if one needs showers and toilets the bathhouse was warm and clean with plenty of hot water.

Self-service kiosk for paying for your space and services. Could be a decent stopover if you've got one of the spaces with a big shade tree and no neighbors, but we won't be staying here again unless we have no other option.
We stayed here in late September of 2021, during the heat wave.
