We were the only ones in the Spring Hill Campground at Boiling Springs State Park, until late in the evening. There were three sites occupied at bedtime which was so very quiet for the evening. The restrooms and showers were clean and very nice. Beautifully kept grounds and park. I don't know that I would want to be there in the peak of summer camping season, but off season? Definitely a do over if and when we are back in the area.

We stayed in the full hook up section in the White Tail portion of the park. Bathrooms and showers very clean. Heavily patrolled by the park ranger. Lots of stickers in the grass so be mindful when you walk your dog. Some train noise but not bad. Couldn’t hear it in the camper.

We picked a different site using the Rangers help since when I logged back into the site , , it said my name and reservation number could not be found. There was little coverage so I used the open Wifi near the office.
At night there were birds chirping but I heard the train passing at dawn.
I would like people to support State Parks such as this, but it needs a concentrated effort to keep this large park that is in need of refurbishing.

Difficult to spot as it is not marked off highway 15. Use GPS or Siri.
Large wooded sites, some have water and elec. Very secluded, just you and the deer.
Internet strong, cell 4g.
