Streets are small and getting into the site took some maneuvering with our 34ft fifth wheel. Thankfully our neighbour was around to move his truck and there was no one parked across from us. You have to be good at backing up in tight spaces to get into your site. There’s constant traffic noise during the day but was fairly quiet from 11 pm to 6 am. When we arrived we noticed that the electric plug was burnt out. We contacted the maintenance man and he came and fixed it right away. The pool is small but there was never more than 15 people in it at any time we went. The garbage area is at the back of the park and was full most of the week we were there. There are mostly full time residents and snowbirds with a few sites available for shorter periods. It was close for us to visit the Keys and see the Everglades.

This park is primarily permanent residents and seasonals, with no regard to age or condition of the unit. Some were in very bad shape and many sites were just "junky." The temporary sites all backed on to a road that had a constant stream of traffic 24 hours a day, and it sounded like a speed track with the loud revving engines and speed freaks - we got very little sleep in our four nights there. The pool is small and old, with signs warning you not to swallow the water!! And the pool hours - brochure at check in said open until 10 p.m., somewhere else said open until dusk, but a paper taped to the pool gate said it closes at 4 p.m. (3 p.m. on Sunday), which is ridiculous. Fortunately, no-one paid attention and the pool was active well after 4 p.m. There is literally NOWHERE to walk a dog as it will be doing its business on someone else's site, and no trash cans anywhere to put doggy bags into. The dumpster was in the back corner of the property. Office/store was locked tight and the woman checking us in through a side window shrugged her shoulders when I asked for information on what there was to see or do in the area. The only positive is that the location is good in terms of being within an hour of the Everglades and the Keys. Oh, and the sites - they are extremely tight, and the road is narrow so it takes a lot of fancy maneuvering to back into the sites, and you can actually hear conversations inside the trailer next to you! Our fifth wheel is 33 feet, and we could not imagine getting anything any longer into one of those sites. Absolutely do not recommend this place - neighbours pulled out early and forfeited their money to move to a different campground.

Our reservation in the Everglades fell through and left us scrambling for a place to stay on such short notice. I work remotely so I need electricity wherever we stay. Most places were booked due to a race in town, which left us with Boardwalk RV Resort.
The staff were not friendly or accommodating and not very honest. Over the phone she told me the clubhouse, gym, and pool were closed due to Covid. This was not a problem for me, until after we booked the stay, arrived, and were told Wifi is only available in the closed clubhouse. I was able to use my data, but I had a day where my phone wasn’t working properly. We explained the situation to her and asked if I could enter the empty clubhouse in order to work. She said I could stand outside the clubhouse. It was sunny, 80 degrees, and my work requires a computer. I told her as much, but she didn’t seem to care.
After reading reviews in here, these amenities were closed long before Covid.
The sites were trashed and the neighbors blasted music during the night and let their kids play loudly outside past midnight. We had to confront them, and afterwards, they were quiet.
The resort is close to the Everglades, so that is a plus. We were able to drive their in the afternoons after work. That’s really the only plus side. I’ve learned my lesson with Good Sam Parks: they are mostly all scams.

My fault. We were scrambling for a place to stay for the night and I didn’t look at the reviews. We drove through and promptly left.

Basically a trailer park. We found maybe one other rv in the whole place that looked like a passer-through. Almost every other space was a trailer or an rv that looked like it hadn’t been moved in decades. We had a beer can in our site, cigarette butts, trash. The concrete patio was cracked and dangerous. The place to park the rv was muddy with huge tire tracks through it. Our electric wasn’t working fully when we arrived and they sent someone out and said it was probably the electric panel so we had to wait for them to come switch the whole panel out. They have laundry but you have to pay $2 to get the laundry card, then they only accept cash to fill the card and only in $5-$10 increments. There are feral cats EVERYWHERE. Hardly anyone spoke English. This was the first campgrounds out of hundreds that we’ve stayed at that we almost left. It was New Years and the trailer across from us was having a huge party with loud music. They set off a bunch of firecrackers in the road right in front of our rv. We tried to be understanding because of the holiday but it was way too close. We were afraid to complain because it would have been very obvious that it was us and we didn’t feel safe there. We were worried about what some of the residents or party goers would do or say to us if we complained. Won’t be back! They said they have WiFi but they put us so far from the WiFi that it didn’t matter. AT&T service very sparse. We chose this place because out its proximity to Biscayne Bay and The Everglades. It was not worth it.
