Pulled up to find a spot at dusk, most sites were reserved though still empty. Price is now $24 per site. I chose to find a dispersed option instead. Looks like a great campground for a short stay, though!

Pulled in after escaping the dispersed camping north of here. 5-6 sites open. 12 right by the river. 30+ feet site with table and fire ring. Wood at camp host $7/ bundle. Road noise mostly drowned out by the river. Pun intended!!

If you drive through look for the check out date in the yellow tags and if it's available, fill out a ticket and you're good to go. Great fishing and a very nice and active camp hosts, the bathrooms are well kept. There no water, electric or dump station so, fill up and just in town of Silverthorn. There's a dump station for $5.00 and over in Breckenridge they have e dump station with portable water $10.00. No cell coverage.

Do not recommend site 21. Many, many mosquitos due to the marsh right next to the site. But would take any of the river front sites or even up top for views. Do not recommend site 21. Many, many mosquitos due to the marsh right next to the site. But would take any of the river front sites or even up top for views. Host was super friendly and kept the place, including bathrooms, clean. Overall was nice quiet with a few bigger families there during weekend, but nothing bad. Met some nice fellow campers, did some fishing in the river, had beautiful sunrises and sunsets with gorgeous wild flowers. This was dry camping and only cell service was ATT thru our Chevy truck (on-star). My husband had to take work calls so we had to use the truck’s WiFi and it worked. Had an extender but didn’t work with our phones (Xfinity). Very close to Silverthorne, so convenient if you needed something or wanted to other things in the area, like boat or paddle on Lake Dillon, Mtn Bike, etc. our first time boondocking so we learned a lot and we’re glad we were close enough to town to fix things, I.e. needed bigger battery.
