There aren’t really designated campsites. If you have a super small camper you can go down by lake and park there and set up. There seemed to be more secluded spots to set up a camper. The spot we stayed was technically the parking lot for the hikers. So if you have a larger camper you’d have to park up there but then you’d be “competing” with the hikers cars.

We were there in early October, and it was not crowded. I think there are 5 to 7 Campsites on the way up to the dam. We just parked up there, not in a designated campsite.
