Overall Rating

The east side of Bloody Basin Road is as well maintained as the west side. It is a little washboard, but no ruts or potholes. The side spurs may require high clearance, however there are many campsites right off the main road also.

The entry signs note that no new campsites should be created. Please help keep this wonderful area open by following the rules.

The east side has a more clear exposure to I-17 so there is a bit of highway noise. The views are amazing thought and the small amount of noise is not bothersome at night.

We had 2 to no bars of Verizon 4G (less as one leaves the highway area) and no bars of AT&T.
