Great place to stay. RV or can accessible. Stayed here 6 days in Nov/Oct. Plenty of space. A little washboard coming in but nothing major. We have a 22ft trailer and had issues.

F350 and 36 ft 5er had no problems. Beautiful mountains in the distance and we parked up against the hills that blocked out road noise. Did some walking but mostly just annoyed the peace and quiet. There were never more than 8 campers and all at a great distance from each other. We got water and propane at Ballard RV Park in Thompson Springs and then also dumped there at the end. Groceries in Green River are slightly cheaper than in Moab. We felt this was a great location from which to see Arches, Canyonlands and Dead Horse Point SP as well as explore some restaurants in Moab while avoiding crowds closer to Moab.

Loved this spot. Came on a Sunday at 4pm only to find a handful of campers. Lots of space and dirt roads. Big rig friendly. Parked next to the mount twins as it was extremely windy and rainy. No bugs just a few flies.

Nice sites in view of but far enough away from the highway. Quiet and clean and easy access when dry

Road Is As Described - Gravel With Ruts But We had a small travel trailer and it made it just fine. We were the only campers so didn’t go too far down the road since it was an overnight stop. It was hot but overnight was cool enough. We decided to give our ecoflow power station a try to see how long it would run our small AC and that lasted until about 6 hours. Besides, we came from Texas and even the desert is cooler these days.

Silty dirt/clay, Any size rig, 2 big open areas.
Slick if it rains, dries pretty quick.
(more spots for small to mid size down the side roads & further down FR144)
Cell Service: Varies wildly by site.
No OTA channels
We didn't need dump/water this stay, so no info on those services. Heard Maverick has them, but that parking lot is smallish and VERY busy.
Windy! Campfires, charcoal grills & awnings are were a no go during our stay.
What it is:
A conveinent spot with easy access for any size rig when visiting Arches & Canyonlands. Clean site, minimal micro glass/trash. Uncrowded for the proximity to the parks (20min). Day time us & 1-2 rigs spread out well, night had another 3-4 overnighters. Everyone was curtious & quiet while we were here. Spots easily found even on weekends in June.
What it is not:
The quietest. It is close to 191, but the minimal noise never bothered us. Trains, usually twice a day except on days the Rocky Mountaineer passes through.
Not the most beautiful site we've ever had.....nor is it the worst.
Craggy rock hills in the distance, silty with low scrub vistas across the desert. It has it's charms in it's solitude in an otherwise crowded tourist area & it's nightlife. Had a fox pass through one evening, a group of Pronghorn a few days later.
There are prettier views closer to Moab, but the ones we scouted were crowded or now cost (Willow Springs), or were going to be difficult to get our girl into.
Cell Service:
If you need good cell service, go past our spot on FR144 (we have no booster). There is a hill here that reduces the signal to almost unusable on both Verizon & ATT. There is another good sized area past us on the right that has much better signal.
Moab Brewery, expensive but delicious with a nice selection of beers. El Tapatio satisfied our Mexican craving. No grocery stores to speak of & what is here is pricey. State liquor store in Moab, well stocked for liqour & wine.
This area was exactly what we needed. Easy access from I70, away from the crowds, but close enough to visit the parks & town, no muss/no fuss, easily leveled & clean. We will park in the 2nd area when next we pass through for better cell signal.

Decent dirt/gravel road in with plenty of level spaces off the main dirt road. Easy to maintain separation. Only slight highway noise from Hwy 191.

We went strait to the first large area. It was pretty flat and we were good. Further down the road there were 10-12 TT and Fifth wheels. Plenty of room and space between most campers. It’s pretty open so there were a few windy/dusty moments. More dirt than gravel so be cautious if it’s been raining.

Everyone stays closer to Arches or Moab, but those sites cost per night. Just don't go in too far if it's raining or has been, as there are big ruts in the road where people have been stuck. I stayed 6 days, zero issues. I work remotely, and my Verizon Hotspot worked fine. Amazing office spot for my video calls 🤠
