Are the site close together or is there plenty of room for kids to play and enjoy themselves between the next site?

Our 1st camp with our new Zinger. Very peaceful and relaxing. We stayed in spot 43 which one of the last spots on the end. Plenty of room. Dump station was easy and convenient. Will stay again.

We stayed one night to try out our new travel trailer. The park is quiet, beautiful and easy to access. We had a back in spot right in the lake (Spot 45.) Staff was nice. We lucked out and had the tow spots next to us empty, so it was fairly quiet. Great campground to spend a weekend.

The campground is easy to reach as long as you pay attention to the road signs. We really enjoyed site 40. It was perfectly level, remote enough to be quiet most of the day, and an easy walk to the bath house. We would definitely stay here again and probably will soon.

This camp ground is about 30 mins from where we live but it really feels like a get-a-way once you arrive. It connects to Lake Harding and offers a boat ramp on site. The management is very nice and they take their time with each reservation. The sites on the water usually go quickly but the other site all offer good views. This site does allow for tent campers as well on a hill closest to the water. The bath house is old but kept very very clean and the showers have great water pressure. There is also a washer and dryer available for use. We use this camp a few time during the summer and always enjoy it.
They are cash or check only and sell ice for 2 a bag.

We camped here from May 1 - May 8, 2017. Rates are $25 a night, but if you stay a week they'll give you a free night so the weekly rate is $150. No additional fees or taxes on top of that rate, cash or check only.
There are ~50 sites, give or take, some of which are tent-only. All sites have electric, a fire pit, cement picnic table, and a grill; RV sites have water as well. There is a dump station at the entrance. Most sites are back-in, a couple are pull-throughs. If you have a big rig, make sure to mention it when making reservations to make sure you're assigned a site that will work - some back-in sites, like ours, would have not been easy to pull off in a Class A.
We called ahead to see if there were sites available about 18 hours before we arrived - we are not good planners! Regardless, the host was happy to take us and upon our arrival, he highlighted all the possible spots we could stay at and allowed us to drive down and choose our site before returning and finishing the reservation. There are quite a few beautiful waterfront sites on Lake Harding, but none were available for us given our lack of planning. Not to worry though, our site (29) still had beautiful water views through the trees as it was up a hill and looked down over the campsite.
This, by far, hands down, was the cleanest campground I have ever been to. The firepit and grill had been meticulously cleaned out. The site was level and neatly gravelled. I always avoid campground restrooms and showers - much cleaner and easier to use my own. But these bathrooms were so pristine and the free showers were so clean and spacious that we used both quite a bit when we were there. Such a nice surprise! Laundry was $1.50 wash, $1.00 dry.
Other campground amenities include a recreation/picnic area right on the water with a playground, a sheltered gathering area with another playground, and a boat launch. Most people with waterfront sites had their own boats/kayaks/etc. that they kept docked right at their site. The campground is also gated and closes in the evening - 11pm, I think? We never got back late enough where it was a concern.
Phone reception un-boostered was useable but slow. Both AT&T and Verizon were 1-2 bars of 4g, 3-4 bars boostered. A funky thing about this campground - because it is so close to the Alabama border, our phones switched over to central time while at the campground. You're still in Georgia though and the campground operates on eastern time, so keep that in mind!
The location was also really great for exploring the Presidental Pathways region of GA. We were half an hour from Columbus, which has a really pretty riverwalk and a few neat museums and botanical garden. It's also home to Fort Benning, which contains the #1 free museum in the US, the National Infantry Museum. It's a must-see in my opinion - incredible displays and hours can easily be spent in there. We also ventured over to Warm Springs to FDR's Little White House and state park and went to the Cotton' Pickin' Fair in Gay, which had very little to do with cotton but a lot to do with crafting booths.
We had read some previous reviews online that there were gators in the lake. We didn't see any during our week there, but we took no chances and did not let our dog swim.
This campground has a 2 week maximum stay, so our company was mostly weekend warriors. We watched a lot of rigs come and go during our week here, but everyone was polite, kind, and respectful. Our neighbor even offered to let us borrow his paddleboat - cheers to southern hospitality!
We did not want to leave and we can't wait to go back.

The camp hosts were extremely helpful and the check-in was smooth. They went ahead all the way to our side with their golf cart in the dark, which was about 5 minutes from the ranger station. Luckily, we would've never found it. They even picked me up and drove me to the office when we extended our stay so we didn't have to unplug everything. It's a huge area with several hills and one can choose between secluded and hidden spots, waterfront or in the middle of everything. They have two playgrounds, bathhouse, laundry and boat launches.
The sites are gravel and very well maintained. The area is pretty much surrounded by water, which gives beautiful views for sunsets and sunrises. Though there is no direct access to the water for those in the woods when the campground is full. We were there in August and it was almost empty. If you do not need direct access, sites 42 and 41 are on a hill with view over the lake.
