“Bison is small town off the beaten path”
Reviewed Jul 02, 2016
Ok first of all there are no buffalo in North America. They are BISON.
Now that we've got that clear :) Bison SD is a really small town. Picked it as an easy drive of about 2 hours as a moved down towards Rapid City.
Warning I didn't find any gas station in Bison. Maybe I just couldn't find one but come with enough fuel to get to the next town.
Sites are on gravel and are a parallel parking setup next to the park. Total of 4 sites with 20/30/50a and water. Restrooms between the two sets of hookups. If there was someone in one of the spots setting up might be challenging depending on the size of your rig.
There is a market, bank, restaurant and the county sheriff in town.
Verizon was 4 bars LTE 18.02/16.20 mbps down/up
