Nice wooded site with some view of the water. Larger units coming in later below us blocked some of the view. Unfortunately site 9 is on the road that leads to the boat ramp, and there was just too much traffic for us.
Also, lots of trash left by previous campers was a negative.

There did seem to be a lot of litter left behind by other campers, which sucks but it didn’t ruin the experience. There is a dumpster on site for your trash and vault toilets.

We have been coming here for years and love this area. This spot use to fall under the yearly permit of $30 per person, but that changed this season to $10 per night. Still isn’t horrible, but won’t be staying as long as we use too (up to 14 days). Have a feeling they changed it due to the amount of people who were coming and staying ... more
We have been coming here for years and love this area. This spot use to fall under the yearly permit of $30 per person, but that changed this season to $10 per night. Still isn’t horrible, but won’t be staying as long as we use too (up to 14 days). Have a feeling they changed it due to the amount of people who were coming and staying long term/yearly at these spots. Still love the area and will come back in the future sometime. Most sites have a campfire with a ring around it, picnic table, close to a composite toilet, and a garbage bin.
