There are two sites in the campground but it has a vault toilet available and firepits. There was no ATT or Verizon service. Other dispersed sites available along the road.

Quiet, Mostly Unlevel sites. No internet at all. Even with my Wilson booster, NO service. OK for a night but it is 7 miles off of route 26 so you might find a better place. Paved NFS road which surprised me.

We were looking for a place to stay in the general area to break up a long drive. We're self contained and don't use the facilities. We stayed on a weeknight in August in our 25 foot MH.
The CG is 6.5 miles from Route 26 on a paved road. This was a pleasant, tiny CG with 6 primitive sites (3 with picnic tables and fire pits) in 2 loops. The sites were mostly shaded and needed some leveling. The sites were spaced apart providing for some privacy. The spaces might be tight for larger rigs. The largest site was at the end of the 2nd loop. There's a pit toilet. Billy Fields Creek ran alongside the sites. There was usable Verizon and no ATT coverage. There was one other occupied site on the night we camped.
The CG is surrounded by dirt roads that might be fun to explore. It is also convenient to John Day Fossil Beds National Monument.
dsvt would stay here again
