Overall Rating

We stayed here for a weekend in early October. The campground was about 25% full on the weekend days and only one other camper when we left on Monday. Our site had a real nice lake view. The site however was very unlevel both side to side and front to back. The site lacked in the way of privacy. The site to our east was very close with very little spacing or privacy . To the west was mostly weeds and a good amount of space to the next site. The boats on the lake can be kind of noisy at times but that is to be expected. Our neighbor in site 37 ran a generator most of the time when they were at their site despite there being multiple electric sites available. I wish MN would follow WI's lead and ban generators in state parks. If you need power get an electric site. We had mostly reliable Verizon LTE service and we were unable to receive any over the air TV channels. If was still fairly warm when we arrive and the mosquitos were pretty bad while filling out fresh water at the dump station. The entry road has a lot of deer, so watch out for them.
