Park rangers weren’t very apologetic for the inconvenience, they just laughed it off after they made her move the car. The park ranger residence and the maintenance building were right next to our campsite and it looked like both buildings hasn’t been cleaned up in years. There was stuff and garbage everywhere. We were supposed to stay for 3 nights but left a day early.

There are beautiful trails to hike here. The sites are spacious but many are not places for best privacy with the door on the street or in angle and seeing everyone down the lane.
Lake is nice and people swim and fish.
It seems to be a hot spot for locals to come camp.
Several hairpin curves to get here.
Very quiet here.
Rate of 32.45 is an average over 6 days including taxes.

Site 16 and 17 would be great for good friends and family as they are very close with picnic tables and fire ring in the back. I would not have chose this site because of this. As it turned out our neighbors lived close to where we lived and were extremely nice. Water was extremely close very walkable. We parked our kayak on the beach below. There are sites that are better suited for having personal crafts. The campground was maintained pretty well, mowed and weed eatted (sp)? No sewer hookups.

Your experience at this Park is largely going to be due to picking the right site. Some sites no joke have less than 5-10 ft of living space in front of the camper. I have listed the better ones I suggest on my video review that is posted under the blogs section.
