fortunately we got in the day after labor day and had the campground to ourselves! we chose a spot above the lake with just a short walk down. hooked a couple nice catfish from the beach. modern flush bathroom. sadly showers not open, tried the host but nobody home.

We stayed here September, 2018 - just randomly decided to go here. We should have grabbed site #28, but the driver didn't think we would fit and it was closer to the one other camper in that loop. 28 is on the water side of the road, 29 is not. So we just took our chairs across the road! Somewhat tight spot as they have little fence posts along the sites. We fit and didn't have to un-hook. Dry camping. Porta potties near us - never made it to the other restrooms. Loads of deer all around us! Found a trail down to the beach and it was heavenly! Happy old Labrador. Gorgeous spot for the sunset and a place we would have loved to spend a few days.
