Easy to find. We were the only campers here. Water and restrooms are closed until spring. Some uneven spots but enough level to make it work. Watch for stickers if you have pets (really dry here). Playground (a bit outdated), shower house, and lots of ducks on the little bit of water that is here . Needed an overnight and this worked 🙂👍

That being said we were grateful for this spot to wait out the wind on our drive east along Highway 50. There was very little water in the pond so that made the bank down to it too steep for me to fish, unfortunately.

The road in was quite washboarded. The lake was very low and posted to be used by members only. It looked like no maintenance had been done in a while. The overall look was one of neglect. We moved on.

Hubby and I stayed here on two separate occasions this summer. Both times @ 2 days each. The weather was quite pleasant, considering it was July-August. And with both stops, we had no problem getting a site as there was only 1 or 2 other rigs. We pulled toad on our 33’ class A. The in/out road had a couple of ruts, nothing too bad though. No problem hooking up (water and 30 amp). We used the restroom but not the showers. My ONLY beef is that the women’s restroom door jammed and I could not open it (I was still inside lol!). Thankfully hubby was outside waiting for me and he had to rescue his damsel in distress, haha! The park is right off a smaller highway but it’s pretty quiet. We took evening walks around the small lake (water level seemed low). So other than the annoying restroom experience, it’s a great area to stop! 👍🏽

We stopped for the night in November. Easy in and out, good cell service and the power worked. The water was shut off for the winter I assume.
The park was pretty clean during our stay.

Stayed one night when headed east from Great Sand Dunes. Short drive on well maintained roads off route 50
Perfect for an overnight. Very little road noise, it was hot so the a/c was on.
Can’t beat it for $10 and free elec/water.
Very clean, well maintained.
Good cell service. Shared utilities, may need longer lines.

Our site was level and neat. The place was clean and the trash dumpsters were empty. We pulled in at 7:30pm on a Thursday night and we're only the fourth campers here. Visited with a local man from Lakin just driving through the camp and he was very friendly. Great place to stay, especially for the price.

Pleasant camp experience. A quick stop with water and electric. Pulled in past the white building which was the restrooms for the place. (we didn't use). 5 campers there already we arrived about 7pm. Would camp there again if passing through. Enjoy
