We really liked this place. It’s obviously geared for people with off-road/duning interests. We don’t have that stuff but still enjoyed our stay. There are large, spread-out camping spaces near the dunes with picnic tables and fire rings. We chose the area in the large circular grass field. The ground looks grassy but is in fact covered with large river rocks so don’t attempt it if you are a dandy or have low clearance. We saw large motorhomes pulling toy haulers across it though. This place is good for large groups and elbow room. If the sound of atvs or families having fun bothers you then stay away. Verizon signal was good. Our spot felt like we were right next to the mountain. It was cool. Would be great for family reunion. I think I saw toilets but I’m not sure. We are self contained and don’t need those things. There were some mosquitoes later in the day but not too bad. We would definitely come here again. Free for discovery pass.
