As part of a north central Washington loop trip we headed north toward Chesaw. Our map showed 2 USFS campgrounds on the route, Beaver Lake and Beth Lake. We got to Beaver Lake campground first. It appears to have been abandoned. So on to Beth Lake. The price listed includes our pass discount.

This campground is tucked into the area between the north side of Beaver Lake and the south side of Beth Lake. The campground has 2 day use areas with boat access for each lake. The camping area in between has 15 sites in 3 loops. The sites are nicely separated with a decent amount of privacy. There’s a fire pit/grill and picnic table at each. Several vault toilets and a dumpster round out the amenities.

We were there on a weeknight in July and there were only 2 other campers in the campground. It appears to be a popular evening recreation area for locals. Lots of flies but not many biters and mosquitoes were not a major problem.
