“Sites are best for tent campers and small rigs, but pleasant campground”
Some of the sites themselves might handle 30-ft rigs, but the campground road is very steep, rugged and narrow. I felt a little uncomfortable at times with my small truck pulling a pop-up camper trailer.
One trick would be that there are sites at the end of the campground loop on the left just as you are entering the loop on the right. You could just go left instead (going the wrong way up the loop) and there would be campsites immediately there for you to take, and that way you wouldn't have to go up the tortuous campground road.
Campground was about 1/3 full on a Thursday night in June, but active with locals who were enjoying other parts of the park with activities like fishing and disc golf. Seems like a pretty good vibe.
Patbarb would stay here again
