“New Mexican bummer”
We were headed up the pacos river north of pacos. It’s a nice scenic drive if there aren’t any New Mexicans riding your bumper hoping you’ll do more than the speed limit and passing you any way they possibly can.
We tried to camp at the campground but the Dictator of New Mexico declared it was unsafe so they closed the campground which has ample space and made everyone cramp together in disperse camping where I nearly got stuck with a 24’ fifth wheel.
Making it out , I camped at the second pull out that had been used before by some so I figured they wouldn’t run me off.
The first night was not peaceful as I found out, for fun, New Mexicans like to honk their horns as they pass your trailer for some reason as you’re try to rest and relax.
Perhaps they find it amusing.
I’ll have to remember that when I meet one in my state. I’ll be sure and make them feel welcome.
