“Beautiful park ”

Reviewed May 10, 2018

Overall Rating

Campground is basic big rig ok but not with tow. We accidentally entered here instead of RV park and had to kturn our 40 ft to get out. There is a volunteer on site. The park however is beautiful. There are multiple hiking trails to choose from, catch and release fishing, playground for the kids. Entire park is covered with pecan and other trees. There are information signs and kid learning activities also MGR the way. Historic farm with donkeys on site

“Mediocre and Rude”

Reviewed Jul 12, 2018

Overall Rating

this place ia as mediocre as the owners and management that run the park. the Wi Fi has not worked properly ever (we have been here for a long time) despite repeated assurances that "they are working on it" nothing has ever been done to solve the problem. it's currently 645am and I cannot log in to check email. The front office staff keep a small, yappy dog in the office at all times. the dog barks at EVERY SINGLE person that enters the office but the lady who owns it never stops the dog from barking. it even nipped at my hand when I tried to pet it in an effort to calm the dog. Speaking of dogs... the park does nothing to enforce dog owners to pick up after their dog so there are often piles of dog poop on the path or sidewalks. there has been broken glass in the road on our loop for 4 weeks. The park is never "cleaned" and rarely mowed and maintained. the waste basket in the dog park is ALWAYS over flowing with bags of dog poop. it is indicative of the staff and management of this park. Mediocre and sub par seem to be the business goal of this park. those with positive reviews haven't been here long enough to see the real park. bottom line...go up the road a bit or down the road a way and stay at any other RV park in the area.
